This past Tuesday was, our friend and co-worker, Elisabeth’s last day here in Moscow studying the language. On Wednesday she flew home to be with friends and family for a while, and she will definitely be missed while she is gone. She wanted to go to Red Square one last time, so a few of us girls went and got some pictures then we went on an excursion in search of a new Indian restaurant she had wanted to try. Here are some pictures from our cold and adventuresome night.
These guys were quite amusing to watch while Elisabeth was getting some pictures with them.
* A thank you to my hubby for taking care of our girls so I could have a fun night.
Saturday evening after Violet woke up from her nap we went with a friend downtown. Here are some pictures and videos (by the way… you can make the pictures bigger by clicking on them, also if the words are blue it goes to another link, check it out!).
Not sure exactly what this fountain’s name is, but it is located close to the Kremlin and St. Basil’s. And underneath of it is a large underground mall.
Next we walked over to the Alexander Garden.
If you would like to see a really cool panoramic view of this area you can click here. We didn’t get very many pictures because we noticed the changing of the guard for the eternal flame was happening. So we rushed over to get some video.
Later, we stopped to hear this Russian guy playing his guitar and Violet started dancing. She dances all the time whenever she hears music.
Thanks for checking out our blog!
