Matching outfits
We received matching outfits for the girls awhile ago from Grandpa Tom and Gramma Schelle, and the other day I had fun doing a little photo shoot with Violet and Keira in those outfits. I think its cute when little sisters dress the same, so I was happy when we got these in the mail! Well, I guess big sisters could dress the same too! What do you think, Rachel or Sheri, should we go get some matching outfits?
Green cloud
Yesterday, all day long, when we looked out the window it seemed as if there was almost some kind of smog outside, but it was slightly green in color. It was just like one big green cloud over the city. From our high apartment windows we could see it, but we couldn’t not figure out why in the world it looked…green.
This morning I was reading an article in the news about the anniversary of Chernobyl and it mentioned the green cloud. People here actually thought it was another nuclear disaster happening! Turns out it was a huge cloud of birch pollen. It’s a bit warmer this year, so there is more pollen in the air.
Here are two websites with some interesting info, video and pictures.
I was thinking about taking a picture myself yesterday, but didn’t. So these the website will have to satisfy, unless it happens again. But it looks very clear and nice out today.
Seven…
…months old. Ok, where did the last month just go?
Keira is able to sit up by herself for a good amount of time. Still no teeth yet. Solid foods are coming along well, but slowly. I haven’t expanded that much in a variety of foods yet, which isn’t really necessary now anyway with the breast milk she is getting. I did find out though, that she does not like her foods cold. At all. I happened to give her some cereal with milk that wasn’t quite warm yet, and she acted like she hated it, but once I heated it up some more, she ate it really well.
