The Zoo
We were invited by some friends to go to the zoo yesterday, so even though it was only 0 degrees Celsius (32F) I decided to go. Micah needed to get some things done, so it was just me and the girls. They also had a little girl about a month before us, so if they could do it with their baby, so can we, right? Yes, we were all bundled up nice and warm. Violet was really excited about seeing the animals and her friend Andrei. Even though it was a little chilly, we had such a fun day with our friends.
After finding a parking spot it's just a short walk into the zoo
This tiger was walking all around in his area and every time he would come really close to the glass, Violet would back away from the glass.

And you will notice in the last picture, there is no snow! Yay! In a lot of spots it has melted finally, but there are still some patches of snow and ice here and there where the sun doesn’t shine very much. Today its about 11 degrees C which is almost 50 degrees F. It feels so nice to finally be able to go outside just to walk around for a bit in the sun and let Violet play.
Birthday time again!
Last night we went over to some friends of ours, for their sons birthday party. Violet and Andrei always have a fun time playing together, which usually consists of them chasing each other around and Violet wanting to tickle him.
