Hi Friends!
Happy November! We had a great weekend here in Simi. On Saturday we had a great Sushi lunch with our friends Greg & Regina and we met there 6 week old Kasey.

On Halloween night we dressed Violet up as a SnowBaby and took her over to some friends house to get candy and show her off. She was so cute!

On Sunday we had a encouraging morning with everybody at GBC. We just get more & more excited as the time for us to leave gets closer. Sunday night we went bowling with the college group and Katrina bowled FIVE STRIKES in a row! Can you believe it! It was awesome.
This morning we got together with one of Micah’s old friends for breakfast at Jerry’s Coffee Shop. One of the best breakfast places in town.

From the Road – Simi Valley…Tea Time/Friend Time
On Thursday Katrina took Darlene (Micah’s mom) out to tea for her birthday, since it is one of Darlene’s favorite things to do. We went to the High Tea Cottage in Woodland Hills, this place it ranked number 1 of 306 tea rooms in all of California. We found it from teamap.com. So if you are looking for a tea place to go to, this is the website to check out. Going to tea is a new thing for me, but its really enjoyable.

Friday was a busy day for us. We went to a friends house for lunch and a different friends house for dinner. For lunch we got to visit Tim and Kate and their kids Tyson, Owen, Seth and baby-to-be. They are such a great solid family! We had a fun time talking and playing the Wii, The Beatle’s Rock band. Then in the evening we went over to Jim and Robin’s house. Robin makes the best food! She had awesome guacamole made especially for me, caeser salad, and for Micah she made wonderful salmon. And to top it all off we had pecan pie, thanks to Marie Callendar’s for that one though. And they have a great big golden retriever, Bette, who Violet was stealing all the attention from. Enjoy the pics!

From Simi Valley…Carousel Rides, The Park & Misc
Hi Friends!
We went to a HUGE mall in SoCal the other day, they had a carousel so we decided to give Violet a ride.

We also spent some time at the park in Micah’s neighborhood giving Violet rides on the swing. She really enjoyed that!

Last night we were able to get together with our good friends Josh & Jenny for dinner! It was great to catch up with them and also to have them see Violet for the first time. Thanks for a great night guys!
