And you will notice in the last picture, there is no snow! Yay! In a lot of spots it has melted finally, but there are still some patches of snow and ice here and there where the sun doesn’t shine very much. Today its about 11 degrees C which is almost 50 degrees F. It feels so nice to finally be able to go outside just to walk around for a bit in the sun and let Violet play.

Hi Friends,
Thank you for thinking of the three requests we mentioned last week. The funds for our survey trip, visa renewals and insurance. Currently we have received the funds to pay for our survey trip plus most of our visa renewal! A big thank you to our friends and family who have given so generously.
Would you still continue to think about the $1500 needed for insurance? Also, our new visas are being processed now but it’s hard to tell how long they will take. So, if they don’t come in before our current visa expires, we will need to leave the country for a short amount of time which means added travel expenses. Please be thinking that our visas will be finished in time!

Tuesday
Yesterday, since we didn’t have class because of the holiday, we were able to get out in the morning with Violet and walk around. There are some nice wooded areas around our place that we like to try to explore, so here are some pictures from our adventure. Oh and by the way… the temperature here has been around 0 degrees Celsius and it’s been sunny quite a bit more these past few days. It’s so nice to see the sun and for it to feel warm. We love it. It seems like winter has been here a long while and now we are ready for spring.
