From the Road – Wyoming: Day 2

Hi Friends!

As I write this I am sitting in The Trail Coffee Shop in Cheyenne, Wyoming. We came into town today to experience city life in Wyoming. Katrina, Dora & Violet are shopping at Kohls while Jonathan & I are at this coffee shop checking our email & updating our blogs.

Health-wise, I am doing much better than yesterday. Violet still has a runny nose but she slept great last night so we were happy about that. Although we enjoy spending time with our friends Jonathan & Dora, I would not like to stay in Wyoming long term – it is very windy, dry & brown. Tomorrow we leave for Oregon where we will re-connect with my Aunt, Uncle & Cousin – Katrina has never met them so we are looking forward to spending some time with them.

From the Road – Wyoming

Hi Friends,

After an 18 hour drive from Sunday night 8:00 to Monday afternoon, we made it safely to Wyoming. Immediately, my allergies kicked back in so right now I am struggling with a stuffy nose and scratchy throat! It’s a bummer but we are enjoying our time here with our friends, Jonathan & Dora. We are planning on staying here until thursday sometime, then we will take off for our next stop – Oregon. Violet has a bit of a cold but besides a runny nose she is her usual happy self.

From the Road: Michigan – Day 2

Hi Friends!

Today we spent some quality time with our friends, Nate & Mel. We traveled up to Grand Rapids and spent the day at a huge art show that showcased local & national artists. If your interested in checking out some of the art we saw, go to www.artprize.org It was a lot more than just drawings/paintings. There was 3-D art & sculpting as well.

Tomorrow we are looking forward to re-connect with our old church here in Jackson and then tomorrow night we head for Wyoming. Oh by the way, the sushi last night was great – we love sushi! And Violet did great on the drive to Michigan.
