From the Road – Simi Valley, Part 2
So the day after we got here to Micah’s mom house, he wanted to start getting some much needed work done as soon as possible. So yesterday he trimmed bushes, raked some leaves and cleaned a few things up here and there.

Also, Violet has been getting to meet all different kinds of animals on this trip. Micah’s mom has a dog, Laddie, that she really likes and here are a few pictures of them getting acquainted.

Yesterday, the three of us and Micah’s mom took a trip to The Getty. It was an awesome art museum on the outskirts of LA. There were some great paintings, we especially liked the ones by Monet, photographs taken by Irving Penn from the 1950’s and a whole lot more. Violet did great… she made most of the security people (who stood at all the doorways) smile and they loved talking to her. And then she even took a nap in her stroller. Not a long one, but way better than not having one at all.

From the Road – Simi Valley
Hi Friends!
We are half-way through our trip! We made it to Micah’s hometown – Simi Valley, last night. We are planning to be here for about 2 weeks to spend time with family & friends and also speak at a couple churches.

From the Road – Lake Isabella: Part Three
Hi Friends!
We are having a great time here at the Lake with family. Tonight, after a dinner with Grandma Violet & Paul we went bowling. We haven’t been bowling in quite awhile so are skills are lacking but we had fun nonetheless!
Tomorrow, we are headed to Bakersfield to watch Emily’s soccer game and Sunday we leave for Micah’s hometown – Simi Valley!
