From the Road…Rockwall, Texas

Hey friends!!

Here is a picture of the nice couple we stayed with in Arizona. They were so hospitable and we are so thankful they opened up their home for us.

A lot of people have been asking us how Violet is holding up in the car. Well… she has been doing pretty good. Not great, but not terrible either. Here are some pictures of her in her different moods.

Stay tuned for more on our time here in Rockwall. In the meantime, think of us as we drive up to Missouri tomorrow. We’ll be staying with friends there for a week.

From the Road…Tucumcari, New Mexico

Hi Friends!

Yesterday we left Simi Valley headed for Rockwall, Texas. Last night we had the privilege of staying with Jean & Richard in Prescott Valley, Arizona. They were very gracious and hospitable toward us and we had a great time staying with them.

Today we drove from Prescott to Tucumcari, New Mexico and we are spending the night in a hotel here. The plan is to drive to Rockwall, Texas tomorrow where we will spend Saturday evening and all of Sunday with Micah’s junior high/high school youth pastor and his family. We also get the privilege of sharing our future work with a fellowship there.

We leave Texas on Monday to head to Missouri where we will spend the rest of the week.

From Simi Valley…One Day Left

Hi Friends!

Tomorrow we start our trip back to Pennsylvania, with stops in Texas, Missouri & Indiana. But we have some pictures from our adventures from yesterday to show you.

We took Violet to a park here in Simi known as the “duck park” because there is a pond there with lot’s of ducks in it. We brought some bread to feed them – they would take it right out of our hands because they are so used to humans.

We also put Violet on the swings again – which she loved!
Finally, yesterday we also stopped at a frozen yogurt place here in Simi to get a snack and introduced Violet to a new world of sweetness!
