We are enjoying Violet so much! She is such a happy little girl who loves to smile at everyone! She has been eating solids lately and is doing really good at learning how to take the food with a spoon, move it back with her tongue and then swallow. Meal time usually gets a little messy, but that is easy to fix. She is learning how to sit by herself…if she is holding onto something she can sit alone for a few seconds. She loves standing, with help of course. She has just started making more noises with her mouth, right now it sounds like she is saying dadda. Its really cute!! And she is doing great at night. Usually around 12 hours! 8 pm- 8 am. I love it. Mommy and daddy can have some alone time to talk and relax.

4th of July
renno reunion
This weekend is Katrina’s family reunion. Every year on the 4th of July for the last couple of years everyone on my dad’s side of the family heads out west to Belleville. This year one of my uncle’s decided to get t-shirts made with the logo above.
Its a fun time getting together with everyone…playing games, riding bikes, visiting Amish relatives and the usual family vacation/camping trip festivities. Here is a picture of what we will be seeing a lot of this weekend.
