VDNX

Hi Friends,

Today I went with my language helper to visit a popular exhibition center at metro station vdnha. We had a good time together talking about what we saw and about Russian culture. Here are some shots of the day.

Mexican Food!

Hi Friends,

The other day I was talking with someone from the states and they asked what food I missed the most. My immediate answer was Mexican food. Growing up in California, I ate great Mexican food all the time, but sadly, here in Moscow there is almost no Mexican influence. But I have the most beautiful, awesome wife in the whole world and she found a way to make enchiladas for me last night! Thanks to some ingredients sent from the states and a good recipe from The Pioneer Woman For a moment I felt like I was in my favorite Mexican restaurant.

They were delicious!

A new week!

Hi!

It’s Monday, and we are all feeling a bit better. Katrina & I are almost done with our colds and I think Violet is feeling a little better as well, although she still has a cough. =( We woke up this morning to sunshine! That’s a great way to start the week. We have not see the sun very much this winter so anytime he comes out, we consider it a blessing.

I took a panoramic photo this morning to show you what we woke up to. Hope your week goes well!
