We are enjoying Violet so much! She is such a happy little girl who loves to smile at everyone! She has been eating solids lately and is doing really good at learning how to take the food with a spoon, move it back with her tongue and then swallow. Meal time usually gets a little messy, but that is easy to fix. She is learning how to sit by herself…if she is holding onto something she can sit alone for a few seconds. She loves standing, with help of course. She has just started making more noises with her mouth, right now it sounds like she is saying dadda. Its really cute!! And she is doing great at night. Usually around 12 hours! 8 pm- 8 am. I love it. Mommy and daddy can have some alone time to talk and relax.
Growing girl
Just recently Violet started eating solid foods. She started on rice cereal a few weeks ago and moved to apples and now bananas. Soon she’ll get to start eating carrots. Here is a picture that explains for itself how her first taste was.
Since that first taste she has gotten used to it and is really getting good at swallowing right away without spitting it right out.
