We must be learning something…

Hi Friends!

I think the Russian language is making an imprint on our brains! The other night I was having difficulty falling asleep but Katrina was already sleeping. As I moved to a more comfortable position, it caused Katrina to move and as she did, she said “Спасибо” which means “thank you” in Russian. Talking in her sleep is normal for Katrina but usually she talks in English! We have a long ways to go but it looks like the language is cementing in our heads.

Thanks for thinking of us during this process!

ps: The weather here has cooled considerably, down to the mid 60’s. The smoke is gone too!

Birthday Party!

Hi Friends!

On Thursday night Katrina & I hosted a birthday party for our friend Elisabeth at our apartment. We had 27 people come! It was great, not only because there was great food (Katrina made sushi for the first time, delicious!!) but because we were able to meet some new Russian friends.
