Хоккей!

Last night Andrei and I went to a hockey game. I’m not a big fan of the sport but I thought that going to see one would be fun and a good cultural experience. I’m glad I went! It was Moscow’s favorite team ЦСКА vs Динамо Mинск. Unfortunately, Динамо won 5-2 but it was still a fun time. Here are some shots from the event.

Action shot! (kind of)

These guys were the extreme fans. They chanted and banged on a drum the whole game.

See Mike D? I was really there! Flyers game next!

Morning in the Metro

Lately, we have been taking the Metro to class because it is faster in the winter. We were taking the trolleybus but they are not reliable if it is raining or snowing. This morning, I quickly snapped a picture of our Metro car to give you an idea of how busy it can be. It may look squished but believe us when we say that this isn’t bad compared to other times! When we get to our stop we have to push our way to the door because there is only about a twenty second window for people to get on and off.
